Tu Fawning und Amanda Palmer
Tu Fawning waren in Köln. Am Wochenende hat uns die Band aus Portland mit ihren opulenten Soundlandschaften begeistert. Bei ihrem Konzert im Gebäude 9 haben wir die Chance genutzt und die großartige Band um 31 Knots-Frontmann Joe Haege und der Folkinterpretin Corrinna Repp interviewt. Hört rein, was sie uns erzählt haben! Und lauscht ihrer atmosphärischen Musik.
Und: Lange haben wir (zumindest zwei von uns) drauf gewartet – Amanda „Fucking“ Palmer hat ihr brandneues Album fertig! Im Sommer dieses Jahres hatte die Dresden Dolls-Begründerin mit ihrer groß angelegten Kickstarter-Kampagne Aufsehen erregt. Über die Crowdfunding-Plattform hatte sie über eine Million Dollar eingenommen – jetzt endlich können wir die Früchte dieser üppigen Ernte auditiv verkosten. Die Projektleitung jubiliert schon!
