Verstaerker wendet sich heute ausschliesslich neuen Veroeffentlichungen zu. Vorgestellt werden neue Platten der Chicagoer Post-Rock Bands Shellac und The Sea and Cake, das neue Album von Art Brut, eine neue Sub Pop-Platte von Pissed Jeans und das neue Album der vertrackten Battles, die letztlich in Koeln gastierten. Ausserdem werden zwei hervorragende Reissues gespielt, naemlich Daydream Nation von Sonic Youth und eine soeben erschienene Best Of von den Afghan Whigs. Gegen Ende der Sendung gibt es dann einen Ausblick auf die Konzerttermine der naechsten zwei Wochen.
