Die öterreichische Jazzszene ist extrem vielfältig. Vielen Projekten ist eine Innovationskraft zu eigen, die anderorts in zitatreichem Mainstream Jazz nicht mehr vorkommt. Die Jazz Bigband Graz ist die vielleicht spannendste Großformation dies und jenseits des Atlantiks und hat mit "Electric Poetry & Lo-Fi Cookies" wieder eine Tonmarke für's neue Jahrtausend abegeliefert. Die jungen Instrumetalisten wie Wolfgang Schiftner, Peter Rom, Clemens Salesny oder Viola Falb beweisen eigen Charakter und Mut, unbeschrittene Klangwege zu gehen. Ein glückliches Österreich, Felix Austria eben!
