The Sound of Porridgelike Kings Bubbling

Auch wenn man’s nicht so recht wahr haben will: der Herbst ist da. Und „da“ bedeutet in diesem Fall leider „hier“. Alles halb so wild, man ist schließlich Mensch, ergo Saisontier, und wird sich dran gewöhnen. 12 Monate Sommer is’ immerhin gegen die Natur und wer will schon gegen Natur sein? Heutzutage… Wir nicht, und deswegen schlägt sich die eher unpopuläre Jahreszeit auch direkt, ohne Umwege und große zerebrale Anstrengungen, in unserer September-Edition nieder. „Herbst“ hat ja viele Bedeutungen abseits von schnöder Jahreszeiten-Benennung, z.B. als Synonym für’s höhere Alter. Der stramm auf die 60 zugehende Genesis P. Orridge, Throbbing Gristle Mitglied und Mit-Initiator der Industrial- und Noise aber auch der Rave-Kultur, hat zwar kein neues Material am Start, kann dafür aber zusehen, wie das amerikanische Label Dais nun den zweiten Teil Orridge’scher Prä-TG-Machenschaften rausbringt: COUM Transmissions hieß ein frühes Projekt des Chef-Weirdos of Great Britain und ist nun wieder für Normalsterbliche goutierbar. Weird und britisch ist auch Dylan Nyoukis. Und ein bisschen älter ebenfalls, hat er doch als Prick Decay schon die damals noch jungspundigen Wolf Eyes unheilig angespornt. Der Mann hat mit Frau Constance für frisches Blood Stereo Material gesorgt. Und wie sollte die Schwelle zum Herbst ohne entsprechenden Schwarzklang überschritten werden? Da freut es umso mehr, dass Holy Mountain Records einer der interessantesten derzeitigen Black Metal Bands – Yoga – einen ersten Voll-Länger geschenkt hat. Obendruff gibt’s dann noch den Labelstart von Oneohtrix Point Nevers Daniel Lopatin zu feiern, was wir zum Anlass nehmen, mal in die erste Compilation reinzuhören. Dazu reichen wir mit Little Claw und Mayyors den besten avancierten Punk, wo gibt, und natürlich, wie immer und es sich gehört, vieles mehr.
