Direkt zum Beginn des Schmuddelmonats November könnte uns kaum was erfrischenderes widerfahren als ein Besuch von Jack Penate. Der 23jährige Hochwasserhosenträger aus London hat mit "Martinee" soeben ein unverschämt gutes Debutalbum veröffentlicht.
Ok, ok alle 14 Tage präsentieren uns die britischen Weeklies the next big thing. Doch die Songs des Albums zwischen den Koordinaten Uptempo-Pop, Soul und zartem Songwirting werden mehr als nur eine Saison halten.
Wir hoffen natürlich, dass Jack seine Gitarre mitbringt und uns noch ein Ständchen zum Besten geben kann, bevor er abends im "Blue Shell" mit seiner Begleitband für offene Münder sorgt.
