Borderclash is teaming up with the Cologne concert venue Stadtgarten (European Centre for Jazz and Contemporary Music) and the concert series Reihe M which focuses on new experimental music in all its forms: we're bringing you the concert recording of live electronic artist Köhn.
Ghent based Köhn has been making and releasing music for over 20 years for labels such as Kraak. His productions and live improvisations rely on heavy sound processing via a plethora of electronic gear and result in music navigating in between electronica, ambient soundscapes and experimental drone music.
Jürgen de Blonde not only shares his concert but also joins us to discuss his music making processes, the line between music & sound art, and the function of music in different contexts.
