Autochanger spinnin', you recordin'!!
Schon früh wurde Kristian Auth (a.k.a. Autochanger) durch die Jazz Sammlung seines Vaters inspiriert. Auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Loop fing er an Hip Hop und Jazz zu mischen. Erste Stationen als DJ waren Partys, Bars und Uni-Feiern in M'Gladbach und Bonn. Seit dieser Zeit verschob sich sein Schwerpunkt immer mehr zu raren Original 7" und der Lebensmittelpunkt nach Berlin. Dort wird die erfolgreiche Partyreihe Tourdefunk im Kreuzberger Privatclub fortgesetzt. Und neuerdings ist Autochanger, dank der großartigen Resonanz auf seine Veranstaltungen, auch einmal im Monat im Lido, einem 50er Jahre Kino auf der Schlesischen Str., bei der Soulnacht "At the Soul Inn" zu hören. Der Sound dieser Veranstaltungen schwebt irgendwo zwischen ebenso harten wie seltenen DeepFunk Singles über unbeschwerte Northern Soul Sounds bis hinzu zu Modern Soul der 70er jahre! Oder wie Eddie Piller es ausdrückt: "There is Soul without Funk, but there is no Funk without Soul."
Am 30. September startet nun die SoulJunction-Partyreihe in KÖLN (yeah!) mit Autochanger, den Jungs von Disco Diamant und Rinc aus Bonn. Nicht nur zu diesem Anlass, aber auch und ganz besonders also heute das DJ-Set von Autochanger mit dem ultra-raren Scheiß bei BassMe. Produzenten schmeißen besser das HD-Recording-System an, hier gibt es was zu samplen!
