Das Etikett „Original Handarbeit“ ist das Markenzeichen des Herrn Fangkiebassbeton; schichtweise legen sich - live auf den Plattentellern gedrehte und gekratzte - Sound-Layer übereinander, Sampling ohne Sampler könnte man dieses Prinzip nennen.
Fast zwanzig Jahre als DJ und Musiker haben deutliche Spuren hinterlassen: Fangkiebassbeton ist verantwortlich für unzählige DJ-Live-Sets, etliche Veranstaltungsreihen wie etwa Heimatlos oder Royal Breaks, 3 Longplayer, die in ihrer vertrackten Sample-Bauweise ihresgleichen suchen, usw. und so fort.
Seine Paradedisziplin ist zweifelsohne ein Substrat aus tanzbaren, aber auch auch kantigen und inhaltsschwangeren Klängen. Wie z.B. auf dem Album „Barockin´ Furio“ mit Prof. Dr. Erlhoff, das barocke Poesie mit Plattenteller-Experimenten verbindet. Seine Tätigkeit als Grafiker schägt sich in kongenialen Plattencovern wieder, genau wie in eigens entworfenen Porzellan-Kollektionen. Am 10. April ist Fangkiebassbeton zu Gast beim Sendungsbewusstein in der Papierfabrik. Das sich das lohnt und wie sich das überhaupt mit dem Porzellan verhält, erfahrt ihr heute in BassMe!
