b2b war gestern

So eindrucksvoll mehrstündige Marathon-Sets einzelner DJs sein mögen, so spaßig kann es auch sein, wenn sich in der DJ-Booth mehr als einer tummelt und eifrig um den freien Plattenteller gekämpft wird. b2b nennt man das im Jargon dann und steht für back to back, also zwei Discjockeys, die sich Rücken an Rücken beim Mixen abwechseln. Hier wird oft gepflegt auf Genre-Konventionen gepfiffen, und statt den Hörer auf eine lange musikalische Reise mitzunehmen, steht unkomplizierter Spaß vor und hinter den Decks im Vordergrund.
(Außerdem ist es bei den DJs selbst sehr beliebt, weil sie dann beim Auflegen auch mal aufs Klo gehen können und zwischendurch entspannt an ihrem Drink schlürfen oder eine(n) rauchen.)

Wir treiben das ganze auf die Spitze und machen aus b2b einfach 4x4 - sprich vier DJs werden sich in Rotation die Scheiben in die Hand geben! Strictly vinyl und open end. Last man standing oder bis einer weint.
