Music for Swimming Pools zu Gast
Zugegeben, Badewannen-Musik ist weißgott keine Genre-Schublade, mit der man auch nur annährend was anfangen könnte. Der eine plantscht vielleicht gerne zu zweit bei lauschigen Kuschelrocktönen - der andere blubbert sich einen Spliff beim x-ten Mal Bob Marley & The Wailers. Eigentlich kein dummer Schachzug also, sich Music for Swimmingpools zu nennen, wenn man einen recht breiten musikalischen Rahmen abstecken möchte. Genau das tun nämlich Christian Guntermann und Alex Tackenberg. Die beiden noch recht jungen Kölner Vinyl-Aficionados verbindet ihre Liebe zu souliger und zeitlos guter Musik, sei es von Ambient über Disco hin zu House. Stets aber mit dem Anspruch, reife und gefühlvolle Musik zu präsentieren.
Dieses Ziel verfolgen sie seit einiger Zeit auch als Veranstalter - bisher im eher kleinen Rahmen. Kommende Woche haben sie aber ihr erstes Schwergewichts-Booking am Start: Tama-Sumo, Panorama Bar-Residentine der ersten Stunde. Ihr erprobter Stil, der House und artverwandtes in all seinen Facetten feiert, fügt sich nahtlos in die Ästhetik der Music for Swimmingpools-Reihe ein. Ob Christian und Alex selbst an den Plattentellern genauso fit wie ihr Vorbild sind, dürfen sie heute schon im Plattensport unter Beweis stellen.
